Paul and Eric’s wedding was an elegant ceremony under a beautiful old beech tree on the grounds of the Grand Victorian B&B at Reif Estates Winery in Niagara On The Lake.
Reif Estates Winery is the kind of venue that all wedding photographers dream about – it’s hard to take a bad picture here (and to top it off every course of the meal was paired with a different wine).
We started our day with Paul and Eric several hours before their wedding, photographing their flowers and details and the guys getting ready. Paul and Eric decided to do a reveal photography session with their wedding party before the ceremony, which really helps with keeping a more relaxed schedule for the day because we don’t have to fit all of the photos into the short time between the ceremony and the reception.
The forecast was for scattered showers all day, but fortunately the rain held off and Paul and Eric were able to have their ceremony outdoors under the beech tree on the grounds of the Grand Victorian B&B.
There was champagne and hors d’oeuvres after the ceremony and we took to opportunity to take the newlyweds on a short walk through the vineyard at Reif Estates Winery.
The highlight of the day was a surprise fireworks display over the vineyard following dinner – it was truly amazing!
