About the Dress

Celebrate your special day in the Nova Camille gown from Vivienne Westwood. A reimagining of the house's iconic design, this creation is made from satin and features the signature corset top with an A-line skirt that extends into a sweeping train.

The original Camille corset was first seen in the Vivienne Westwood Autumn-Winter 1987/88 Harris Tweed collection and forms the upper of the Nova Camille dress. This reinterpretation for 2024 is adapted with a structured slim A-line skirt, folding in at the centre back and flowing into a sweeping train. 

I wore this dream wedding dress once for an evening ceremony. There are a couple of small marks and the top hook has loosened (pictured at the end along with another picture of the dress post wedding). As it will require dry cleaning, this has been reflected in the price. The dress has not been altered in any way, however, the bottom has been hemmed by a seamstress and can be easily reversed to its original length. Ordering directly with Vivienne Westwood through a bridal boutique endures a wait of 18 weeks - I can send this dress within a week. Cotton branded bag included along with a protective VW plastic bag.
