About the Dress

Sarah Seven Agatha gown with 1 ft train extension, tag size 2, best fit for US2-4. When I wore the dress, my measurements were as listed. I did have the dress taken in at the bust/waist so there is a bit of room to let it back out, or it could be taken in more. There is also much more room in the bust due to the draped corseted construction, if you remove the cups you could probably fit up to a C or small D— I only added the cups to fill the space as I am only an A.
I am 5’10 (I wore 0.5” flats) tall with a really long hollow to hem (59.5” in my shoes), so this dress is quite long (about 56” from top to bottom of front hem). Because I’m so tall, the original design hardly had a train so I added a 1 ft train extension with the designer and it turned out so stunning.

This dress is made from real silk mikado which is lightweight, comfortable, has a beautiful stiff drape, and photographs beautifully. It has pockets!! They’re big enough to fit a tissue pouch without being noticeable :)

It has been professionally dry cleaned by a specialist cleaner and they did an amazing job, it looks almost perfect. I did a thorough inspection when I picked it up and took the video before rebagging it and I could only find 2 super super faint spots on the hem at the very end of the train— not visible when wearing distance or even photos.

-A few pieces of dress fabric - I had the designer include this because I had my husband’s bow tie made from it and there is a good amount still leftover, enough to make another bow tie or possibly little arm band accessories if desired.

I absolutely adored this dress, I felt the most beautiful I’ve ever felt and was comfortable all day and night. I wish I could wear it again and again, but seeing as I’ll never have the opportunity to, I think it’s time to let it live on and bring someone else as much joy.

The scarf I wore during reception was by Jenny yoo and matched perfectly. This has also been professionally cleaned and looks pretty good, but there is a bit of pilling at the bottom from people stepping on it during dancing it’s a bit longer than floor length on me.
