About the Dress

This breathtaking Cape Base dress by Chosen By KYHA (was Chosen by One Day) is a showstopper. Of course there were plenty of compliments from our guests, but it got me countless comments from strangers on the street while having our photos taken! 

Made from this really lovely ivory georgette fabric that looks beautifully delicate but has a weight and structure to it. It just drapes beautifully and smooths everything out. It's fully lined, extremely comfortable, and is just so elegant and timeless with its classic boat neckline and a chic V-back. The train can easily be bustled to make dancing and moving around a breeze.

This dress is an AU size 6, and it fits really comfortably with some room if you need to make any alterations. It has built-in bra cups that can also be altered to your bust. I'm 178cm tall, and the length was perfect for me. The hips were altered a bit to fit my shape, but there's plenty of fabric if you need to let it out or take it in. For reference, I'm usually an AU size 6-8, leaning more towards an 8, so this dress runs a little on the generous side.

It is accompanied by veil "wings" that attach at the shoulders as seen in the photos, which is such a modern twist on a traditional veil. I absolutely loved them, and they photographed so beautifully!

Both the dress and the wings have just been professionally dry cleaned and preserved. They are stored in a special preservation box, just waiting for their next bride. There are a few tiny bits of pilling in the lining and some small marks on the inside bottom of the train that the dry cleaner couldn't quite get out. You can't see them at all when the dress is on, but I want to be upfront. Don't let them put you off – this is a truly stunning dress. Elegant and timeless, it transcends any wedding dress trends and is just so beautiful. I can provide the dry cleaning/preservation receipt on request.
